šŸ“Pantai Puteri Santubong Having a picnic with Michelle at this beautiful spot, just after she finished her night shift. šŸŒ‡The sunset made the scenery most magical; it was perfect for golden hour photography. With mangrove forests, wetlands and the towering Gunung Santubong as our backdrop, we walked approximately 500 metres out on the seas since the tide was low. Just beautiful. It was breezy throughout our time there, making the weather perfect for our picnic. We stayed till dark. šŸš—Only a 30-minute drive away from Kuching, this spot is lovely for couples or families who wish for a beach day. When I went, it wasn't crowded at all. Some travel tips: -Aim to stay till sunset. You don't want to miss the photography! -There are lots of sandflies. Bring insect repellent, or wear long sleeved clothing -Make sure to walk far out to the sea during low tide. It was such a nice experience!

Pantai ni tak seperti dahulu. There’s 2 side of beach which are the free zone & paid zone. To be honest i have no issues of the paid zone but beach itself got sooo many TRASH! I walked at the beach & i stepped on instant noodle’s packaging & lots of plastic. There’s a lot of trash at the water entrances. Menyesal tak ambik gambar! The paid zone & free zone got access to the SAME BEACH. Not sure who manages the beach site but if the charges from paid zone covers picnic site & toilet etc, aren’t they suppose to clean the beach too? If not then who? I don’t know who’s responsible of the site but I think this is the last time i will ever go to this beach. šŸ‘ŽšŸ»

Another hidden gem in kuching. Abit small but the view is great. The place is clean. Free parking is very limited. Some locals offer some parking space in their house with a rm5 flat rate. It can get a bit noisy on afternoons when the locals turn on the karaoke. There are some stalls selling fried fritters, bbq wings or satays, drinks and snacks. One stall selling fried fritters but have to wait like 15 minutes for them to fry it. (kinda slow) Overall it was a great experience. My cat loves it too.

Went there for wedding photo shoot. Let me share the pros and cons.

Pros: free access public beach, place is relatively clean. And good place to lay down a mat and unwind with some cold beverage and perhaps with sandwiches. Prime location to enjoy a view of Kuching city's sunset.

Cons: place is quite small, therefore tends to be crowded easily. Car park will be an issue during peak times such as during sunset. Road leading to the beach will feel claustrophobic for drivers if the place is packed. Nothing much to do apart from admiring the environment, as the ocean, it is not recommended to swim, as there are mangrove trees nearby, and can hide snakes and all sorts of nasties. So swim at your own risk.

Overall, I think this is a one and done kind of place to visit. Give it a go if you...
