Pantai Tanjung Batu Bintulu — Attraction in Sarawak

Every other day is different, but the same amazing combination of breeze and comfort. Especially from an hour before sunset, to sunset. Times of 5:30-6:30 ish, as Bintulu gets dark pretty early.

On a good sunny afternoon, you can have some nice ABC (blended ice) by the shops and then walk past the beach to this big collection of rocks that make up a small island a little off the shore. I'd recommend coming during sunset as it could get a bit too sunny. But there's always those two trees there that'll give you some shade.

The sky's consistenly gold and pink every sunset. My friend and I took a puppy she's currently fostering and we had an amazing time. Leashed (for a kindness to others who may not be comfortable with dogs) and I ran around with the little guy. It's become a nice past time with her.

I don’t know why so difficult to provide shower for people to wash themselves after playing with beach sands. The facility look sophisticated but not even having outdoor shower simple tap to wash your leg. The washroom close before 6:30pm compared to what they mentioned in the signage 7pm. The toilet counter taken care by underage kids, is it even allowed..where is the lazy ass adult who supposed to do their job? If you plan to bring your kids to the beach be sure to bring a gallon of water to wash your feet before enter your car.

Update 1/11/24: my investigation found out the reason she disable the outdoor shower is to force people pay to enter the toilet. So this one lady profit is more important than the rest of hundreds thousands of the visitors. Aparantly millions profit BDA earn from oil and gas is not sufficient to provide outdoor wash for...

Seriously I org miri but I gotta say this straight from my heart. Pantau Tanjung Batu is waayyy more beautiful,preety,strategic,clean than Pantai Tanjong Lobang Miri. Please do something about Tanjong Lobang in Miri. Even tmpt makan here in Tanjung Batu pun tersusun cantik. Its not just about chair and table but properly arrange. Ada food truck comel selling lots of different food & drinks. The last time I pergi Bintulu,this Tanjong Batu is not this beautiful mcm skrg. Kfc Pizzza Hut at the beach is such a big No No lah.
