A Disappointing Beach Experience Calling for Urgent Improvement@Pantai Remis, Kuala Selangor

I recently visited again this beach side together with overseas friend with high hopes of enjoying a relaxing and scenic day by the water. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I encountered the neglected state of the area. The lack of maintenance was evident in the unkempt surroundings, littered sand, and dilapidated facilities.

It's disheartening to see a once-promising beach destination fall into such a state of disrepair. The potential for this location to be a vibrant hub of recreation and leisure is undeniable, but its current condition leaves much to be desired. The absence of proper waste management and the sight of discarded trash scattered across the sand not only diminishes the aesthetic appeal but also raises concerns about environmental sustainability.

Moreover, the deteriorating state of amenities like restrooms, showers, and seating areas greatly hindered my ability to enjoy the beach comfortably. Visitors deserve access to clean and functional facilities that enhance their experience rather than detract from it.

Hopeful that the local mayor or tourism minister recognizes the urgency of this matter. By investing in the improvement and beautification of the beach, they can revitalize its appeal and make it a destination that locals and tourists alike can take pride in. Implementing regular cleaning and maintenance routines, installing proper waste disposal facilities, and updating amenities would be crucial steps towards restoring this beach to its full potential.

Pantai Remis is a charming coastal spot that offers a refreshing escape from city life. The beach is lined with large rocks and shaded by tall casuarina trees, creating a unique blend of rugged coastline and peaceful greenery. It’s a great place to enjoy the sea breeze, watch the waves crash against the rocks, and take in a beautiful cloudy sunset.

When I visited, the area was lively with families and visitors flying kites, having picnics, and just relaxing by the shore. There’s a spacious open area for picnics and food stalls, which gives the place a warm and local feel. It’s not your typical sandy beach for swimming, but perfect for a calm outing, especially if you enjoy coastal photography or just watching the sea.

So here it is. Every Weekend Pantai Remis will be the most busiest place to hangout for family , Kite lovers , fisherman , and others. The reason why is because of venue that provide everything in one place. For example food hunters could look for (ikan bakar , kerang bakar , mentarang , siakap , kembong , sotong ) anything for seafood you name it and its all here & the best part is every weekend evening there is a small market to look for snacks , other than that if you love to play kite here is the best place to get your kite flying and battle with other people who is the highest because of the wind is quite strong on pantai remis.
