FRIM Camping Area — Attraction in Selayang Municipal Council

I came here on weekend morning for charitable purpose. My review:

Accessibility: Camping site is accessible by car, motor and bicycle. The road leading to this place is just okay while the walking distance from the nearest parking spot to the site is approx under 20 metres.

Amenities: Restroom is clean, easily accessible, no clogging and fully functional. There are a huge number pf parking spot, gazebos here and there. All are well maintained and clean.

Cleanliness: 9.5/10, even the drain water is clear lol. No rubbish, just falling leaves. The river is clean, no waste is being dumped into the river as far my observation. The camping site is clear, no hazard but the one near the waterfall looks like abandoned. No dustbin provided, take home your rubbish.

Security: I saw security guard came to this spot every now and then. This place is in fact under a ministry purview , so yeah quite safe. You can see your vehicle across the river and the observability of this whole area negates potential crime.

Vibe and View: 10/10, super cool, comfortable and the forest-river vibe is there. The view of the surrounding is soothing but no elevated view. Recommended for family and friends, seeking for an escape.

Camping site (main attraction): Just average, the main camping area can fit up to approx 10 tents or more. There is one spot near the waterfall.

Entrance and Use: Idk the condition to use, entry fee or rental price. Public may enter with booking but feel free to call FRIM PIC to get the full info.

this place is one of the most best camp site..I enjoy doing activities with my friends..It teach us how to be more independent while we are in camping.. . The area is well preserved & maintained. Proper roads for vehicles, ample parking space, some tracks for off road activities. Bike rental is available over the weekends. Some came for walks, hike & jogging activities. Public toilets are clean as well. There is a waterfall nearby as well in the park. Worth a visit.. We walked around and found the atmosphere beautiful and peaceful. What a wonderful place to get away and...

Very beautiful and big rain forest with a waterfall in the middle of the jungle. Nice place to come. Got a lot of parking lots. Can picnic here, just to remind for those who wants to have a picnic here, please do take care of environment and clean up after you have finish eating. Very very interesting place to come. Bring your family also.Always make sure to remember your way back, so you don't get lost. There is also many dead ends.

Best time to visit is at very early time (before 9:00 AM).
