Our preschool (Star Kids - Tadika Bukit Bintang) decided to head to SFV for our field trip last month, and it was such a fruitful, educational experience!
We pre-booked a package catered for school trips and added 2 more activities into our itinerary for the day. For the price, what SFV has to offer is more than worth every single cent! All of us thoroughly enjoyed the tram rides, getting to pet and feed some of the animals, and taking in the scenery from this vast place. It was such an eye-opening experience to discover so many types of fruits with its fruit trees!
There were also some additional highlights from this field trip which made the children extra excited: riding on the speedboat around the lake (some of our students and teachers were scared at first, but found the ride very exciting in the end) plucking guavas (to experience first-hand what it means to pluck a fruit straight from a tree is something that made the children's eyes lit up. The workers in SFV were very kind to give us extra guavas!)
A huge shoutout to the SFV employees that we encountered throughout the field trip, especially to our tour guide, Syafiqah! She was so nice, kind, patient and genuinely helpful! We saw how proactive she was in offering to carry some of our younger students and encourage them to overcome their fear of animals. She also stayed with us with a ready smile on her face till we headed for lunch (that was close to 3 p.m. as we arrived late at SFV). We are grateful to have such a tour guide!
Would we come back again? Definitely, because SFV is such a huge place that it would take a few visits for anyone to be able to cover the whole place. Even our students said that they will ask their parents to take them there again.
For parents with young children, if you plan to visit this place, do take note that toilet facilities are not so convenient and unless you have a ready tram to hop onto, the time duration between the wait for the tram until you reach the next toilet can range from 15-20 minutes. However, don't let that stop you from...

Our visit started with a short wait for the train to pick us up. (I bought ticket earlier, if you dont have the ticket, please buy before waiting for the train ride start)..Once onboard, we enjoyed our first ride, which brought us to the Main Hub. Here, we could buy some local goodies and enjoy patting a few friendly animals — at main hub here, to patting u need to pay per entrance,, space is just like a room ,,
After exploring the hub, we hopped on the second train ride, which took us to the Ostrich, Sheep & Goat Barn. We spent about 5–10 minutes petting the animals and even bought some food (rm1).
Next, we continued our journey with the third train ride to the Rabbit Barn. Right opposite the barn, there was a snack stall selling treats like waffles, nuggets, corn (jagung), hotdogs, and also animal feed.
We took a short break here to enjoy the snacks and spend a few more minutes with the rabbits (it was raining so the rabbit also a bit wet).
The fourth stop was the water play area! I think i loves it here,, the have like affordable water activities, perfect for cooling off and a must-visit for families with children.
After that, the next train bring us to the Food Station stall, which also featured a mini kampung-style area and fruit stalls (but not many options, maybe its wasnt the fruit seasons)..
6th Stop,, If you visit during grape season, there's an additional stop at the grape farm. If not, the train will head straight to the final station where the journey ends.
Note: Parking is limited and berbayar per entry so it’s best to...

First of all parking was ample but unfortunately management failed to manage the traffic causing massive traffic jam inside parking area. Best to come early and get front seat parking or else you got to walk quite far to entrance.
Train service very attractive. Good for young family and kids could enjoy the ride. Children would love this ride very much.
Herbs and trees area are just enough to educate young generation of Malaysian local fruits trees especially people from urban area would definitely never seen all these Malaysian fruit trees. Most of them would only know the fruits in groceries or kedai tepi jalan.
Other attractions which good for kids are deer and rabbit farm. I would suggest to wear mask visit this animals and take precautions as i personally believe this animals are not being vaccinated and all my family members got fever after came back from animal visit. Disclaimer: this is just writer personal opinion and not represent the management of SFV.
The final stop gives you a unique experience of fresh coconut juice and its really fresh. Got one traditional Malaysia house and good for OOTD.
Personally, for me this would be only a one time visit and could return if got new attraction in future.
Be reminded, it is a winding road prior reaching this place. If you easily got carsick better prepared all the necessary before hitting the...
