The view of this place is super awesome but I was there because my son was diagnosed +ve Covid-19 😂. I was given an option to self quarantine but my son is only 5. It was a disaster for him to stay in the same room for 4 days. He doesn't comprehend why he can't go out of his room. There are 7 other people in my house, so we decided to check in Maeps although I was aware of the hassle that I have to go through.
Can't say much of the facility. Some said I was on vacation 😒 but it was free so what can you expect? The front liners did the best as they could to cater hundreds, sometimes thousands admission in a day 😶. I can see some of the doctors' eye were really tired. Pity them 🤐
Hahha.. I did feel like a zombie as there is a big sliding door separated us and the front liners. They only open a very narrow space, just as tiny as the A4 sized paper to pass our documents and linens for bedding. That's when I realized Covid-19 is deadly and why my husband was nagging at me for not wearing my mask when I took care of Umar before we went to CAC Stadium Melawati.
I was in a room with the positive covid 19 patients, I was diagnosed-ve 😂. The registrar missed me and I was not geared with the toolkit to protect myself. I only wear my facemasks as a protection throughout the time I was in Maeps. Only after 3 days, I realised that Airiz rooms are for guardians whose Covid-19 negative. When I asked for a room transfer, they replied, you can't do that as you are already exposed. 😂 I had to do PCR test and see my status whether I am positive or negative Covid-19. In the mean time, we stayed in the same room. 😅
The frontliners always monitor my son's oxygen, heart beat and temperature. 🥰🥰🥰 I was so glad that we decided to go there as I don't want anything bad happen to my precious Umar. He can play and mingle freely as the hall is spacious, with face mask on 24 hours of course. My son can run to the hall, to the toilet and also whenever the intercom announced something, especially when the doctor wants to see us. It happend every hour sometimes until 3 a.m. 😂
The food is good. Huhu..it was just me, not having a good appetite to eat. I am glad tht I can feed Umar and he ate A LOT. The bed is double decker and it was fun as Umar kept climbing up and down the bed. Linens are provided and they are clean.
The toilets need to be upgraded and cleaned 😂😂😂 I really couldn't stand the condition of the toilet 😏. The maintenance need to scrub and wash the toilet properly. The sinks are too high for my son to use, even to wash his hands. I also having difficulties to brush my teeth as it doesn't fall right into the sink. I just said to myself, I should have grown taller 😐
Washing machine is there to use. It's functional and please bring detergent. The rack to hang clothes are there but the open space is limited. Please bring your hangers. As I forgot to bring mine, I hang our laundry on the empty beds in our hall.
Last but not least, the aircond is SUPER COLD 🥶🥶🥶 A friend of mine advised me about tht and I brought along a comforter for my boy. My kids and I cannot sleep in a VERY COLD room cos high chances of falling sick and getting fever are confirmed.
Hope this will be beneficial to all of you. Some people wonder why I still got -ve after being exposed to the +ve Covid-19 victims? I wore the mask 24 hours as suggested by hubby. I also avoid f2f contact with them ( except for Umar, I slept and shared blanket with him) 😂😂😂 plus a lot of prayers. I spent a whole lot of time at the open musolla there to pray and read Quran. Alhamdullilah I managed to qiam and woke up at 4 am every day as they announced that loudly for sahur 😆
I am glad tht my son is OK now. That happened on the last 10 days of Ramadhan. Tq Allah for this arrangement 🥰 I managed to take good care of my son, bond and play with him without having to think about my work 😆, I managed to khatam my Quran and did my qiam. It was a super special Ramadhan 2021 with my Umar Bolat Mama 🥰🥰🥰 Farewell Ramadhan, looking forward to seeing you...

But 2 things i need to complaint here. the staff (driver for small car) & his friend not communicate so well. Bcoz that time we are waiting for a bus to go Zone 6, but suddenly the small car arrived and the driver said we can go inside the car to reach there. I ady saw a sign there "for warga emas & ibu mengandung sahaja", but he said we can naik, we just naik je la. And unfortunately when arrived at Laman Tiba, his friend (other staff) said we (all) need to move out bcoz the small car is for warga emas & pregnant women only. So sad and regret that, we saw too many people queue waiting for bus, we just walk from Laman Tiba 1 and go to Zone 6. It is very very tiring ya. I hope, the staff communicate well. If cannot enter, we also didnt enter. We can just wait the other bus.
About staff who incharge at parking. When we want to go out from this event, we cant move out bcoz he keep give other car to enter the parking area sampaikan kami yg nk keluar ni tak cukup ruang untuk keluar ya... Sama ada dia tak nampak atau sejenis bengap, xpandai nk arrange.. asyik bagi kereta dari luar masuk aje, habis yg kami dari dalam nk keluar ni, mcm...
Read moreWe visited the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show 2018 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) on Wednesday at about 1.30pm. We were surprised to see the big crowd of visitors despite being a weekday. You could imagine the crowd during weekends. The show was held in several blue-roofed buildings on a wide expanse of land and MAEPS is supposedly the largest agro park in Malaysia and Asia. However, the show, in my opinion, wasn’t very well organized for the following reasons: Booths weren’t well sectionalised according to products such as dry food, agricultural machinery, fishery industry etc Poor directional signs or rather the lack of such signs for the various building, directional flow of pedestrian traffic, entry and exits of car parks and toilets. Poor linkages between the buildings blocking the view of the halls, being not wide enough, not aesthetically looking and walkways with too many kerbs causing obstacles to pedestrian traffic. . The fruits on sale weren’t cheap. Visitors coming afar expect cheaper products. Toilets were too small with wet floors and long line of women waiting. With so much of walking in the buildings as well as the vast open grounds where fruit, fruit trees and landscaping plants were sold, there were no seats in sight for visitors except for limited numbers at...
