Masjid Lapan Kubah, located in Kampung Lapan Kotak, is a truly unique and magnificent architectural masterpiece. The mosque, which is also known as the "Eight Dome Mosque," resembles the iconic St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, Russia. The mosque's eight domes are decorated with intricate patterns and colorful tilework, making it a true sight to behold.

The mosque was built with a combination of traditional Malay and Islamic architectural styles, making it a perfect blend of history and modernity. The mosque has eight domes, each with a different design, representing the eight states of Malaysia. The mosque's entrance is adorned with wooden carvings, and the overall design is a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements.

The mosque is not just an architectural gem, but it's also a center of spiritual and community life in the area. The mosque serves as a place of worship for the local Muslim community, and it's also open to visitors who are interested in learning more about the culture and history of the area. Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the mosque, learn more about its history, and take in the beautiful art and architecture.

Overall, Masjid Lapan Kubah is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in architecture, art, culture, and history. The mosque's unique design, intricate decorations, and spiritual significance make it a truly special and meaningful destination. Masjid Lapan Kubah, also known as the Eight Dome Mosque, is a remarkable piece of architecture. It's located in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. The mosque is named for its eight distinctive domes that make it stand out from other mosques in the region.

The mosque's design is a fusion of traditional Islamic architecture and contemporary style, which gives it a unique aesthetic appeal. The domes are arranged in two layers, with four large domes on the bottom and four smaller ones on top. This unique design is not only beautiful but also functional, as it helps to enhance the acoustics inside the mosque.

The interior of the mosque is just as impressive as the exterior. The prayer hall is spacious and adorned with intricate Islamic calligraphy and geometric patterns, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere for...

fantastic location to visit It is the most colourful mosque I have ever seen, and it is quite unusual. Non-Muslims are welcome as long as they abide by a few simple regulations. Amazing construction. Although the construction is almost same, this is a mosque where Muslims can pray. Located in Jerteh Terengganu, Lapan Kotak. It's very stunning and unlike anything you could have imagined existing in this location, particularly in this rural area. Do go to Terengganu; I can assure you that there is a lot more that will surprise you. Although the facilities are still kept in good condition, it is clear that the building needs repairs. There are already apparent cracks and water stains on the dome. The mosque is allegedly modelled in Russian...

St Basil Cathedral Red Square Moscow? Hahaha. Look alike but totally not the same one OK. The architecture almost similar but this is Masjid for Muslim to pray. Located in Lapan Kotak village Jerteh Terengganu. Locals call it Masjid Moscow too. I have no chance to pray and visit inside at this time due to pandemic standard operation procedure practice here. Wish to be and pray here again in near future. Its totally beautiful and something that you never imagined existed in this region especially in this village area. Do visit Terengganu and trust me there's so much more will surprise you ..

It's a beautiful mosque, there's no denying it. Somehow you think you're in Moscow but in fact, you're actually in Besut Terengganu. It's not a big mosque, probably 500 max? The facilities is still well maintained, but you can see the building need repair works. Crack lines already visible, as well as water marks to the dome. It's said that the mosque is designed based on Russian-architecture. All i can see is the resemblance of St. Basil Cathedral on a mosque? Not that russian for me.
