Get your boat service to send you here for an easier hike. It can get very sunny if visiting in fry season (my visit was 23Sep) so sunglasses, sunblock and hat is highly recommended.
The rocks can be uneven and a bit sharp, i l felt slippers were not protective enough, so sandals or water sport shoes will be best. I got my pair of water sport shoes on Shopee at about RM 20 per pair, very worth it to use for this one activity here.
