If you're looking for a getaway that combines nature, adventure, and amazing food, Dataran Batu Putih should be on your list. My recent visit there was nothing short of wonderful, and I’m excited to share the highlights of my trip.
The day greeted us with a stunningly bright sky, perfect for outdoor activities. One of the must-do experiences here is the riverboat ride, which costs only RM10 per person. Drifting along the serene river, we soaked in the picturesque scenery—the lush greenery along the banks, the gentle ripples in the water, and the occasional breeze that made the ride even more enjoyable. It’s a relaxing activity for families, couples, or anyone seeking a peaceful escape.
After the boat ride, we went on a food-hunting adventure and found ourselves at Cikna Kopi Nissang, a cozy spot known for its delicious treats. Their drinks are a must-try—refreshing and perfect for the warm day. I especially loved their waffles, which were delightfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The menu doesn’t stop there; the place also offer a variety of local favorites like goreng pisang (fried bananas), air balang (traditional drinks in jars), and other traditional foods that showcase authentic flavors.
One thing to note, though, is that parking can be a bit challenging due to the crowd. It’s worth arriving early to secure a spot and fully enjoy everything Dataran Batu Putih has to offer.
Whether you're there for the scenic river views, the relaxing boat ride, or the delightful food, Dataran Batu Putih has something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting and immersing yourself in this...
Read moreBeware, there are two parking spaces here. The left one and the right one. The left one is free to park, the right one you must pay rm2 to enter. Probably because it is private land. The biggest problem is that there is private land os not tar, only sand with rock. There will be a RELA in front of the juction. Most of the time, he will simply guide people to go for the paid parking spot. You can try to ignore him and just park the left side. He can't do anything. The only and most of the reasons people come here are due to Cik Na Kopi Nisang. But you probably need to queue quite a long line for the Cik Na Kopi Nisang. The interesting part is that here got some Nisang Waffle that is unique to this branch. The other place is good too. I tried the mee sup and laksa penang in one of the small stalls. Which is quite tasty to be frank. The is also a joyride boat here. But I never tried yet because I dont know exactly the timing wheb the service is available for public. The downside is that there is very limited number of desk to eat. In the hot scorching sun, you may not want to eat here. My suggestion is that, tapau here and go to pantai kelulut instead. For the view, I have to say that this place got a very unique style for a small stalls. Most of the time, in terengganu this kind of place is placed near the beach. But here...
