Nama “Rumah Botol” tu sendiri dah cukup catchy.

By the time we arrived, it was already closing time, however, Atok ( the owner ) still let us to go into the house. He also leads the tour around the Rumah Botol. He showed the very first bottle he collected until the latest one. It was such a nice and a warm welcome experience given by atok throughout the journey here (it took less than 15 minutes to tour around the house since it was a bit small ) it would be nice to bring along kids to show them the important oh recycling or to not throw rubbish anywhere its not supposed to. Warm hospitality given by all the people around the house too!!

p/s : dont forget to sign the guest book! Atok had been keeping the past...

The best thing to see in all of the Penarik coast by the Terengganu shoreline, aside from the great beaches, that is. Tengku Mohamad Ali Mansor has been collecting bottles for the past 15 years, adding every unique one he finds to his ever-growing collection of over 9,000 bottles!

Stacked from top to bottom with bottles, Mohamad is the caretaker of this little wooden house which he has turned into a little museum, is extremely friendly with visitors and very animated when you ask him about his mission to clean the beaches of glass.

If you’re in Penarik, stop by this larger-than-life character and his quirky bottle museum. You’ll enjoy every...

“Rumah Botol Ayahku” is a meaningful story that highlights creativity, family values, and environmental awareness. The story revolves around a father who builds a house using bottles, turning waste materials into something useful and beautiful. It symbolizes perseverance, love, and the bond between father and child. The house itself is not just a shelter, but also a reminder of how determination and hard work can transform ordinary things into extraordinary achievements. The author successfully delivers a message about appreciating family, respecting efforts, and being more conscious about recycling.
