I was looking for was to visiting this after visiting a herb garden in Sri Lanka which was excellent. Unfortunately this one is poorly tended to and so is a bit unloved. I was told by our guite that it had lost its contract after the change of government, and so I think it is now staffed by a skeleton crew of volunteers, and there was no one there when we went. There were a few interesting things there but our stand-in guide did not know much, which is a shame. At 'Pondok Harmoni' there is someone on duty who let u try 3 different types of herbal drinks i.e. Tongkat Ali, Mahkota Dewi and Kacip Fatimah. If anyone is interested, there is also a shop selling those rare herbs and few other thing acted like mini sundry shop at an affordable price.
