Tower Of Africa — Attraction in Bamako

This is the most ancient tower of bamako named La tour d'Afrique (The Africa's tower). It is a blend of African-type elements in general and Malian in particular. This compilation is made by: - a baobab - a reservoir covered with ideograms (emblematic palaver tree under which the major decisions and resolutions of the city were taken) - two necklaces (to signify the party) - joined arms (for the uniqueness of the objective) - a pierced jar (that of King Guezo of Benin) - a sign bearing the image of Africa. The Tour of Africa made my day. It was the last edifice I visited that day but I do love it. The view is spectacular specially during the sunset.

The guide was very professional. I take my time to get inside the Tour. I was able to appreciate history of African Union and Panafricanism, pictures of leaders and founders of the AU, presentation of African countries with their flag, arts.

From the tour you will be able to appreciate a part of Bamako city. You can see the International Modibo Keita Senou airport, the second bridge, etc.
