Wied Fulija is a lovely spot for a peaceful walk, enjoying scenic views, having a picnic, or even doing some birdwatching between Zurrieq and Birzebugga district. The area has been nicely restored and is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a quiet escape in nature. (Finished in 2021)

The walking paths include quite a bit of concrete, which takes away slightly from the natural feel. A bit more tree planting would also help reduce the bare appearance of some areas and make the space even more inviting. Still, it’s a charming 4-star option for nature, scene lovers and a nice example of turning a former waste site into a...

Compared to the delipitated state it was before, a lot of work has been done for the site to be enjoyed by the general public. Road access has need laid down with new tarmac as well however parking can be an issue if the place gets too popular. Nice views of Filfla and the surrounding seas, which in winter can be quite rough. There is a part of the path that is quite steep and can be slippery when going downhill. Might be ideal to hold hands on to small kids while walking through this part. Otherwise there is a nice and gentle walk to enjoy for...

Not too exciting. The sea view is great (as everywhere). It was a dump site which was rehabilitated some years ago. Now it is a park and a nature reserve as many unique animal species live here. But you can not see them unfortunately. However there are a lot of planted tree, as well. It can be seen in 10 minutes. Of course it is not prohibited to spend more relaxing time here. Quiet place. Don’t go on the side roads there are nothing to see there. Just walk down to the sea view in the middle path, read the info signs, look...

It has lovely views but no public toilets, a partial pathway and there was a manure smell went we visited. The view was worth the visit though.
