Wied Fulija is a lovely spot for a peaceful walk, enjoying scenic views, having a picnic, or even doing some birdwatching between Zurrieq and Birzebugga district. The area has been nicely restored and is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a quiet escape in nature. (Finished in 2021)
The walking paths include quite a bit of concrete, which takes away slightly from the natural feel. Road access has need laid down with new tarmac as well however parking can be an issue if the place gets too popular. Nice views of Filfla and the surrounding seas, which in winter can be quite rough. There is a part of the path that is quite steep and can be slippery when going downhill. Now it is a park and a nature reserve as many unique animal species live here. But you can not see them unfortunately. However there are a lot of planted tree, as well. It can be seen in 10 minutes.
