We visited with our 3 year old boy this week, and unfortunately were really dissapointed by the experience. To start with, we were charged more than the rates mentioned online - €14 instead of €11 because of an "activity", we weren't told what the activity was. Turns out the activity was painting which was not something our child wanted to do. At entry you are given a bucket of small Playmobil toys to carry around with your child and use while there, but you hand it back when you're done. I guess they do this so that the smaller character pieces don't go missing, but it seems odd that they wouldn't just have large buckets of these to pick from dotted around the play spaces?

The place is really let down by a few things. Firstly, indoors it's just a big room with tables full of Playmobil toys. There's no soft play, no history about Playmobil, nothing for kids to learn or watch, just toys they're expected to play with on small tables. We were told our child couldn't roll cars on the floor for health and safety reasons, but most of the tables are too full of toys for there to be any room to play with them. This really shows the management that run this place have no understanding of neurodiversity of children - not all children play in the same way and an indoor activity area designed for children should make consideration for this.

Secondly, the rules. There are so many rules. Everywhere you look there is a different sign about something you cannot do. Parents are encouraged to scan a QR code to read all the rules. There are lots of reminders that you are being watched on CCTV. It's great they take safety seriously, but it doesn't need to be like this. Are they just concerned people are going to steal the toys? It feels weird to pay entry for somewhere and then be constantly reminded about things you cannot do. Any sensible parent would do this already, the signage is just over the top and unnecessary. I'm not making this up - even the nappy bin inside the toilets had a sign printed on it, saying to put your nappy inside a separate bag before putting it in the bin. I've never been anywhere else in the past 3 years that has that.

The outdoor playground is really suitable only for kids over 4 years old, there's only one small area with a small slide for younger children. There is a water activity outside but it was full of algae and there was a sign saying the water is not suitable for drinking - again completely unsuitable for younger children who won't know the difference, and frankly disgusting for something being used by kids!

We didn't try the cafe. It has a sign telling you not to bring your own food/drink in there, which means there is nowhere you can feed your child here unless you want to buy something at the cafe... there are also signs in the play areas saying to not eat or drink. Again completely unsuitable for younger children who often need to drink or snack while playing?!

I'm really surprised that Playmobil run this place, as it seems at odds with what a toy company would want, children to have the freedom to have fun? I really hope that management read this and really think about why they have all these rules, and such a restrictive place for younger...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Playmobil FunPark Malta with my children, and I must say it was an incredible experience that left a lasting impression on all of us. The park is a fantastic haven for kids, fostering creativity, imagination, and social interaction in a fun and exciting environment.

As someone who visits the park on a yearly basis, I can attest to the consistent quality of the experience it offers. Each visit brings new excitement and joy to my children, who eagerly anticipate the opportunity to explore the diverse Playmobil sets and enjoy the engaging outdoor activities. The combination of indoor and outdoor play areas ensures that there is always something fresh and delightful for the kids to discover.

The outdoor activities, including slides and climbing structures, add another layer of enjoyment to our annual visit. It's heartwarming to see my children fully immersed in play, their imaginations running wild as they engage with the various Playmobil sets. The emphasis on creativity is truly commendable and has become a highlight of our yearly tradition.

The on-site shop has become a must-visit destination for us, offering a selection of high-quality Playmobil products. While the prices may be on the higher side, the durability and robustness of the toys make them a worthwhile investment. Knowing that my children can enjoy these toys for an extended period adds significant value to the purchase.

However, I would like to offer a suggestion for improvement. It would be a fantastic addition if the park could provide a complimentary present wrapping facility and a nice bag for purchased items. Given that the prices are not budget-friendly, offering this service at no additional charge would enhance the overall customer experience and make anyone's visit even more memorable.

In conclusion, Playmobil FunPark Malta continues to exceed my expectations year after year, providing a fun and enriching experience for both children and parents. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue to families looking for a place where kids can unleash their creativity, engage in imaginative play, and create cherished memories. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space for children to...

We were not expecting much of our visit, as we went there mainly for the shop. The assortment of boxes is good, but one would have expected a bit more, also in the quality of the decoration. Buying online is very easy and you'd expect the shop to have a real added value. I did not find that added value. As far as the playgrounds are concerned, they are both meant for very young children, and are very small. As far as the interior playground is concerned, there are some large Playmobil figures as décoration, then tables and benches for the children to sit and play. To respect COVID measures, tables that may be used are separated. On those that may be used, they have placed a doll house, or a pirate ship. Each child receives a very small bag with (large) accessories. My daughter's bag contained many horses (why so many and why only horses is a mistery), some pieces of furniture (most were the same), and some (incomplete for some of them - no hair for example) figures. No fun at all as it was not sufficiently diverse or enough to be able to really play. We went back home, and my daughter enjoyed much more playing with what was bought in the shop. So, this was a disappointment. Fortunately, we had another activity planned that day. I guess it must be more fun when children may use any accessories that are put in common when sanitary measures are...

Great indoor and outdoor play place. The outdoor has three playground stations aimed to cover the 1-12 years old and a long multilevel water table with Playmobil boats - fun for all. The indoor play area has multiple tables for play (toddlers separated section to avoid small pieces) and many tables with themes (fire station, police, castle, mobile home etc). We spent hours, would probably have stayed even longer if a nicer restaurant would be available. Staff onsite to reset tables/clean up loose parts. Toilets adapted for all, including low sinks for little ones. Free street parking. Only negative point was the loud dance music. It might be more appropriate to have either something more classical or even kids museum. Some lyrics were at times inappropriate for children.

Nice place for the kids. In my opinion it's suitable for kids ages 1 and a half to 10 years - Good entrance price with unlimited time, but probably won't stay more than 2 - 3 hours - clean - Out door/ indoor areas ( i would suggest change of clothes for the younger children cause of water play) -the Restaurant ( good food, snacks are limited, food allergies/ intolerance not mentioned on the menu and slightly long waiting time) - children were given a bucket with toys each. It was very frustrating because the number of toys was limited and we couldn't build or make up stories with the few toys we had :-( ( Before COVID more toys were available all around the park) - it's great that there is a shop from where you can buy toys I would definitely recommend it.
