It’s quite far from the bus if you don’t have a car but it’s definitely worth it! (You can take bolt, they go there a lot) Parking is free and just by the beach. The water is so clean and clear! Swimming is good for great swimmers but also not so good. There are even places where you can sit in the water. There are ladders to get in and out of the water. There are places in the shadow. I didn’t try it but many people are jumping from the rocks to the water. This place is not that crowded as I’d expect it to be. Top beach to go to in my opinion.

Great little cove near st Peter's pool but a lot quieter, just as easy to get to. The swimming is better than st Peter's pool (which felt a bit unclean from too many people) and there's also good jumping in/diving spots and stairs etc. Also there's way more flat slab space to lie down and the rock isn't all dusty like at SPP. Only negative Vs SPP is there's no cafe there but then that'll be why it's so much calmer and clearer. You can also hike back to SPP by following the trail left from the car park (as you look to the water).

Amazing place! Went here in the evening (18.00 pm) 25/07 and there were not many people. Water was perfect warm and there were no jellyfish to spot! We parked our car down next to the sea because we were afraid of the bad road. But when we were walking the road we noticed that the road is very good en larger than expected. The pictures on google maps (street view) don't resemble the reality. They created a very good road towards the bay. Loved it a lot!

Many people stop at St. Peter's Pool and don't venture any further down the peninsula - which is a mistake. About 1km further down the road is Il-Kalanka - another area very similar to St. Peter's Pool but way less crowded. In addition, nearby you'll also find the Il-Kalanka Lighthouse and historic Il-Kalanka tal Gidien - a series of salt pans on the peninsula.

Definitely the best place to swim and avoid the heat in Malta! The water is crystal clear so that it is perfect for snorkeling. You can safely jump from several rocks into the water and there are even a few ladders to get out of it. Furthermore, the cliffs provide natural shadows during the whole day. Be aware that the road conditions to get there are rough!

Interesting place. A beach on a scale from which you can jump into the water. There we met a famous dog who jumps into the water with his owner, which is a local attraction, and their exploits can be watched on YouTube. A place for those who swim well. The children will also have something to do.
