Saudi Mosque — Attraction in Maghreb

Well, this huge mosque is an architectural master piece. I was there for salat Dhor and it was almost half full. It was amazing to have the congregation with so many people. The interior is not only quiet and peaceful but also very nice and spacious. I have heard that it was built by the king Faysal of Saudi Arabia that's why it is called the Saudi mosque or sometime the King Faysal mosque. The only thing is it seems like there was no water for wudu inside the complex since everyone was doing his wudu outside before getting in and so I did. I don't know if this was temporary or if it is like that always. We'll see because I’m going to pass by time to time during my stay in Nouakchott.
