This is one of THE most beautiful forests to visit in Mauritius. Parking at the entrance gate to the park will give you a very easy 6km walk/run to the visitor centre and back again. The lush scenery is absolutely magical alongside the river with bird calls, sights of monkeys, a rare mongoose, frogs, butterflies and so much more to enhance your experience.
The trail in the park to the waterfall is easy although on cobbled stones so wear good shoes.
