We were really hesitant whether to do a trip like that as we were afraid it might be too touristy and harm the dolphins. But based on good reviews we decided for Navin and are really glad we did. Such a cool trip. We were with kids - 5 year old and a baby of 7 months. Doplhin warriors are very respectful towards the dolphins - they find them, go to close proximity and apparently estimate the direction where they will continue swimming. They do not drive into them with ships, they tell you to watch, not to touch or interact. You jump quickly into the water and if you are lucky (we were, many times), the dolphins swim close by to you, they are gone within seconds or minute so you go back to the ship and continue like that several times. They were 4-6 ships doing the same, groups of 6-10 people, not mixing together. Lots of space for the dolphins and between the ships. It was mesmerizing experience seeing the dolphins in their natural enviroment. You also get plenty of opportunity to watch them from the boat. The lunch and time on Benitier island were great. Navin organizes the lunch separately from the main area, so it is just you and maybe few other people at the table, no crowds around you. Food was delicious. Navin is great with kids and even the little one enjoyed the trip like crazy:-). The older one of 5 years managed to snorkel with the dolphins without any issues as the water was really...

I recently participated in the Dolphin encounter offered by Dolphin Warriors in Mauritius, accompanied by my partner Megan on the 28th of December, 2023. I feel compelled to share our remarkable experience.

Navin, the guide, is exceptionally charismatic, brimming with energy and a natural talent for humor. This, coupled with the impeccable cleanliness of the boat, set a positive tone for the day. The excursion commences at 6 AM, a decision that proved advantageous for dolphin sightings and ensured a more intimate experience with these majestic creatures. We were fortunate to have approximately four significant encounters with dolphins, thanks to Navin's skillful positioning of the boat.

A unique aspect of the trip was Navin's provision of homemade rum, which was a treat. Following the encounters, we were taken to a beautiful snorkeling location, offering a glimpse into the vibrant marine life of Mauritius.

A highlight of the day was the lunch prepared by Navin himself. The barbecue was not only delicious but also served in a tranquil spot on Banitier Island, enhancing the overall experience. Navin's attentiveness throughout the day was noteworthy; it was evident that he is deeply passionate about his work, which greatly enriched our experience.
