Unique mountain structure. It was one of my life goal too climb to the summit. Awesome views and great hike overall. If you don't know the path, please don't venture alone as you can easily get lost better have a guide. I would suggest Motrek Adventure and Keep The Pace crew who have certified guides. Also note that the mountain has eroded a lot and better have all necessary precaution to climb like helmet, harness, rope etc. Overall the hike really test your mental and physical strength. Up till the shoulder its quite demanding but shoulder to the head its better you have climbing equipment unless you are a free solo professional climber. Some pictures below.... And credit to the participants and Keep The Pace Team for the pictures and especially the drones pictures. Thanks to Freddy, Nicolas, Julio, Anooj, Tima, Laura and not the least Roobah for the...
Read moreWOW !! What an amazing experience. I am a beginner and have not really climbed before (apart from a bit of indoor stuff, not much though). I was very nervous when my husband suggested this climb but it was amazing and an experience I will never forget! We climbed with an AMAZING guide @jah_is_a_loot who we really recommend. Look him up on tiktok, facebook and Insta - he had all the professional climbing and safety equipment, knew the mountain very well, calmed everybody's nerves, gave everybody an amazing time! You need to have some level of fitness for this climb, but as long as your mind is in it, that is the most important thing! A lot of adrenaline along the way. I'm not sure I'd recommend it if you are afraid of heights, but if you want a challenge - go for it !! No regrets ! Thank you @jah_is_a_loot and...
Read moreGreat hike. Not for the fainted hearts though. I used La ventures as a guide and Lavish was an excellent guide. The first part is straight up which is a bit hard as it's steep. Then we go around a bit and then next, securing yourself with ropes is needed. The last part is pure climbing. The guide helps you if you want to make it easier but you will need to pull yourself up along the way and for the top part (the head). Definitely aims for a sunny day after a few dry days as coming down on wet rocks (they are not small and you sometimes don't have much to hold yourself on) can be quite slippery and dangerous. My 13 year old son may be able to do it but he's super sporty. We tool 1h04 mins to ascend, stayed a bit alone up there and cam back down. Total time...
