Lavilleon Adventure Park — Attraction in Le Morne

We participated in a via ferrata experience, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. We had booked a few days in advance for a specific time slot, but when we arrived, we still had to wait over 30 minutes for the guide.

The lady at reception was kind and told us to wait, which we did patiently. Eventually, a man showed up, helped us put on the via ferrata gear, and asked us to wait again. After another 10 minutes, we asked when we would actually start. Then, another man appeared, said he was going to get his own gear, and without much explanation, started leading us to the trail.

He briefly showed us how to attach the carabiners, but after that, he didn’t speak a word during the entire trip. He walked several meters ahead, only glancing back occasionally to check if we were still there. There was no engagement, no guidance, and no sense of safety or shared experience.

To be honest, it didn’t even feel like a real via ferrata — it was more of a basic trekking path with minimal climbing elements. (It took us 1 hour, not 2-3 like they are saying on the website). We actually had more fun hiking up Le Morne on our own.

We discovered Lavilleon Adventure Park thanks to a recommendation from our taxi driver MEVIN , and it turned out to be an amazing experience. One of the highlights was the Nepanese Bride, which had two levels of difficulty, making it exciting for both beginners and thrill-seekers.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Dylan, the photographer, who was incredibly friendly. He even filmed a video of us with our phone, which was a nice personal touch.

The quad tour with our guide, Luic, was fantastic. He was very friendly, and we had a great conversation during the ride. He also helped us take some photos and videos with our phones, which made the experience even more memorable.

We opted for the Adventure Tour, which lasted about an hour. Everything went smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the activities. The cost for the two activities was around €100 per person, which we found reasonable considering the quality and fun we had.

We recently celebrated the birthday party of my two sons at Lavilleon Adventure Park with 15 of their friends and family members, and it was truly unforgettable! The activities were simple but great, and the staff, especially Vinasha, went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. They made us feel welcome and took care of both kids and adults with warmth and friendliness.

The park is a beautiful green open space, perfect for a day of adventure. The kids were thrilled with the activities, especially the zip line in the kids' corner. Despite getting caught in some terrible traffic and arriving late, the team was very accommodating and flexible, ensuring that our afternoon was still amazing.

I am so grateful for the wonderful people who made this special day happen. It was an all-around fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return for more fun...
