Big Foot Adventure — Attraction in Saint Aubin

I have had the privilege of being on and adventure quad bike / buggy trip on 16 June 2019 with Big Foot Adventures. Christopher, Jean-Daniel and Emily were my facilitators.

I booked this trip via PinkMango Travel as I wanted to do an adventure ride in the southern parts of Mauritius filled with Sugar cane fields and stunning waterfalls hiding in the secret parts. I was extremely fortunate to have Christopher by my side on the buggy. I think I recognized a kindred spirit in him. So, it was an instant click with him. He took me on the route less traveled which was also his own playground. Seeing the nook and corners of the beautiful South, learning histories, and stories he shared with me touched my heart and elevated my spirit!

Christoper has vast knowledge of the Southern side, the histories behind each spot, and he gave me a private view of his favourite places (I am a lucky girl!). I wanted to drink fresh sugar cane juice and Voila! he took me to Saint Aubins, blended fresh sugar cane for me. Freshest sugar cane juice ever and I still have the taste on my lips as I am typing this now! He made me feel like I was one of his own. I think he truly was a kindred spirit to me. We shared snippets of our lives while going through the vast fields of sugar canes, and unplugging completely, taking some alone time at the most stunning and exquisite Cascade Leon although we were together. I did not feel he was a stranger to me. Instead, it felt like we have been friends for the longest time and catching up from where we left.

He took me to Avalon Gold Estate for lunch. The food was delicious. I enjoyed my time at Avalon. Beautiful place to dine in and enjoy the views the stunning place had to offer.

Christopher is an excellent and safe driver with intuitive skills. Wild, crazy ride it was! One of the best moments in my life and I am really fortunate I had Christoper with me. Thank you so much Christopher! Stay you and be you! You are amazing as you are!

Big Foot Adventure is the type of dedicated team you want to spend your day with on the southern parts of Mauritius.

These guys know their job really well. They want us to have the maximum amount of fun as well as safety. So heed their advice as this is their homeground. They have every inch of the place as their second nature.Let's not patronize their talent and skills. I entrusted my day with Christopher and he made sure I had a never before kind of fun experience. We had an incredible 2-hour quad biking adventure with Big Foot Adventure today, covering about 18km of beautiful landscapes from the stunning Rochester Falls to the breathtaking Gris Gris coastline, and riding through endless sugarcane fields.

Our guide, Akshay, truly made the experience unforgettable. He was not only helpful and knowledgeable but also extremely nice, well-mannered, and attentive. He made sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. His friendly personality and professionalism really stood out, and we could feel his genuine passion for what he does.

The scenery was absolutely amazing, a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and fresh air. It’s a must-do activity if you want to explore Mauritius in a fun and exciting way.

Last weekend, I had an unforgettable experience with Big Foot Adventure. I went quad biking in company of my love through some of the island’s most stunning natural landscapes, and it was nothing short of amazing.

The adventure started with a quick safety briefing and gear check. Once we hopped onto our quads, the excitement kicked in. We rode through rugged trails, lush forests, and muddy paths, with breathtaking views of the mountains and coastline along the way. The ride was bumpy, dusty, and absolutely thrilling!
