East Cape Beach — Attraction in Baja California Sur

Best beach in Los Cabos! OK, bit of a drive, and you need to be careful if you are not in a 4x4. You can swim. You can surf. You can paddle board. Whales galore! Thatched shade built on the beach ⛱. I recommend you rent a car and make a day trip here. Only 45 minutes drive from San Jose del Cabo or less, 90% is paved. Recommend the dirt road shortcut a few miles before the end of the paved road which spits you out on this beach. I'll be making our way north to more beaches north, the dirt road goes all the way to Cabo Pulmo I'm told. Another must see for snorkeling and diving at the right times of year. Not too far from San Jose del Cabo, but so empty and peaceful! We had the beach to ourselves the first hour or so and even as it got later in the day only a few other groups showed up. Not so good for swimming as the waves are rough, but great for a walk on the beach, to lie in the sun, or for surfing.
