We hiked up this trail from the Copala. It took about 40 minutes, but we stopped and took pictures a lot because it was so beautiful! I would describe this trail as moderately challenging: there is a gentle slope for most of the hike and a steeper uphill climb toward the end. The view from the top is absolutely worth it!!

Tricky to find the right walking path to reach, but it is still accessible despite what the other reviews indicate. Access point can be found between the golf course and the new developing lighthouse subdivision to the east. A pretty easy hike and mostly runnable for seasoned trail runners.

Es un lugar histórico, patrimonio cultural de nuestro municipio y país, que deben conocer para ayudar a su preservación. Para asistir al lugar debes agendar una visita guiada con Luis Castro. Vale la pena caminar y conocer esa joya de nuestro estado.

A lighthouse should be a quiet landmark, not a nightly distraction. Unfortunately, the new pulsating light effect from El Faro Viejo is impossible to ignore — especially from miles away.

What could have been a tasteful, steady glow is now an unnecessary strobe that feels out of place in such a naturally beautiful setting. It’s not guiding ships — it’s just disturbing views and adding to light pollution.

If there’s any way to disable the pulsating effect (or the light altogether), it would be a huge improvement for...
