The place is absolutely beautiful. The main camping area is on a sand spit between two bays. So, if sun, sand, good views and no shelter/privacy are your thing, this is a good spot. However...

  1. The operators have three dogs, 2x brown and black dog. One of the brown dogs seems permanently tied up and desperate to attack anything. The other two lunge at people walking through the gate. The second brown dog bit my wife on the leg with absolutely no warning. It came out from under a car and drew blood. Three weeks later, she is still healing. The operators seemed indifferent, made no apologies and seemed to brush the incident off as nothing of note. When asked whether the dogs had received their rabies vaccination, I was assured that, OF COURSE, they had been vaccinated but, so sorry, there was no paperwork to prove it. Based on reviews on other fora, there is a history of these dogs biting people and other dogs.

  2. There are a few sites to the right of the T-junction as one enters the beach area heading towards Playa la Perla. The sites are more private and sheltered than those on the sand spit but further from the (clean) toilets. It is ambiguous as to whether the sites are operated by the Requeson or Perla people and, having paid at Requeseon, I was not amused by the attempted shake-down for another fee by the Perla folk.

So, while it was beautiful, there are many other beautiful places for a similar price and the danger of the dogs is...

Come enjoy this beautiful beach located between Mulleje and Loreto Come prepared with your cold drinks, with umbrella and chairs

If you don't bring food, don't worry, there are quite a few people who offer you delicious fresh seafood.

The only thing you should not miss is to bring a cold drink, be it water, juice or beer since no one is going to offer it.

There are also people who come to offer kayak rental services and rent a tank with fresh water to rinse off after spending a rich day...

There is colaboración for entry by car. Not charged for just seeing. If you come without car, you are not charged. Less crowded than other beaches but the sand is too much pressed by cars and reminds a football field. The water is very clean, pleasant to swim in. View from the top is great as well. Beach is cleaned and there are palapas. In the afternoon sellers come with foods/drinks. There is also another wild and empty beach available just behind the corner. At night...

lovely playa, clear waters, and very family friendly. beach has a fun sand bar between two bays and very picturesque. was charged $150 pesos to enter with car. It’s not an official mexican toll, but is charged by pseudo gatekeepers who i’m told maintain bathrooms and the beach clean. I didn’t have energy to debate cost as i was informed by several to expect some fee for access—not just foreigners.
