After spending a week at this cabin with my family, I've carefully considered how to rate our overall experience. From March 24 to March 29, 2024, we soaked in the beauty of nature, shared moments of joy, and encountered a few bumps along the way.
Let's start with the positives. The views from the cabin were undeniably breathtaking - from picturesque sunrises and sunsets to the serene sight of dolphins in the water, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. We indulged in various activities like fishing, swimming, and enjoying campfires under the starlit sky, creating cherished memories during our much-needed vacation. The cabin itself was spacious with a convenient tiled patio, making outdoor enjoyment effortless.
However, there are some aspects that fall under the "more or less" category. The beaches were rocky, lacking the pristine white sand one might expect. Stepping into the water required caution due to the rocky terrain. We also experienced gusty winds on certain days, albeit they were temporary inconveniences. The owners, while accommodating with our late arrival, seemed somewhat distant and not very welcoming during our stay.
For future guests, it's crucial to consider a few key points. Electricity is limited to specific hours each day (18:00-02:00), necessitating either a generator or careful planning. Additionally, there are no grills provided for outdoor barbecues, and the water runs cold in the shower. The cabin's quality is basic, akin to a 2-star hotel, and the beds were notably uncomfortable. Wi-Fi connectivity was sporadic, and there's a strict noise policy after 22:00, which may not suit those seeking constant entertainment. Limited cellular service further adds to the isolation, requiring trips to town for essentials.
Despite these drawbacks, our overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to clear expectations and preparation. I recommend this place for those who understand its limitations and are ready to adapt. With some improvements and investments, this location has the potential to become exceptional. While we might consider returning in the future, exploring other options is also on our radar, depending on our needs.
In conclusion, this cabin offers stunning natural beauty amidst some challenges, making it a worthwhile but nuanced choice...

Electricity only works at night from 8pm to 7am, the cabins has his own bathroom with shower. If you want to charge your camera or phones don't forget a power strip for multiple items. Also has a little gas stove. Is like 20 min south from Mulege downtown. They rent Kayaks and they sell ice. It's in fact a beautiful place. Wake up early and enjoy...
Read moreOne of the most beautiful places I´ve ever been. It has the perfect mixture of peace, beauty, simplicity and imperfection (yes, the place isn´t perfect). Take a good book with you and enjoy it. I didn´t like other beaches in Baja as much as Playa Los Naranjos in Bahía Concepción: Cabo Pulmo was terrible (= american colony, no Mexico anymore), the beaches aroung Cabo San Lucas were too touristic and exploted. Beaches close to Todos Los Santos weren´t charming at all but probably...
