With all the boutique wineries here in the valley it’s a shame I didn’t have a better time or feel more at home here. Some friends were looking forward to this place because they were told from others that it’s nicer, it’s bougier, but I frankly didn’t get that at all.

It’s large, it’s a vast facility for large scale production. The valley produces a majority of the countries wine and with this being the largest it’s easy to see their reputation.

You pull into some dirt lots and you’ll see some strict rules on coolers and outside beverages. The tastings recently went up and are 50, 100, 250 pesos. Historically were 25,75 and 200. They have a traditional 6, reserve 4 and boutique 4. Getting the traditional 6 you get 4 tastings, but do not get to choose. They tell you about the style and that’s about it. Measured pour spouts do 1oz to 2oz pours depending on the style. The outdoor semi shaded tasting area is elevated and outside the main building or vistors center. That has the bathrooms, gift shop, but ultimately it’s under staffed. It’s a rickety table with 1 or 2 people who do the pour and come by every 5-10 minutes for the next one. The massive building you’ll see nearby gives you scale on their production. There are tours done hourly with huge groups of about 50-100 people, so not very intimate.

We tried the chenin blac which was out groups favorite. It was sweet, subtle, not normally our types, but the rest we’ll explain later. Sauvignon blanc was next was dry and overly acidic. We assumed the reds would be next. Cabernet Sauvignon came next and tasted like cactus, very bitter, at this point we were thinking, what in the world was everyone talking about. Petit Syrah tasked of almond skins, the bitterness without the silkiness. The glasses were thin and very cheap, so cheap we asked if these were part of the package to take home, sadly no. We never saw a single person coming by and picking up glasses, polishing glasses, cleaning classes, just new boxes of glasses coming from the back. The wine sat in huge coolers with ice. Like for being so large scale you’d think they have something built in and not just popped up in the shade. The gift shop was some cheese, some other individual tastings and random gifts from barrels to visionless clothes. They throw their brand on anything. They don’t have selection, but bottles were flying with people moving and carting bottles everywhere.

La cetto is not worth the visit and unlike all the other place in the valley they don’t seem to have the...

I went Jan 12th weekend and there was about a 20 min wait for the tour to start but they run I think every 30 min. They have a cute mid sized wine bottle you can take pictures with and a nice little outside patio with a bar to be at while you wait for the tour. The tour itself is VERY informative, our tour guide Isaac was very informative and very friendly. When you purchase a tour ticket you also get a wine glass, keychain, and your choice of wine flight (prices vary but I highly recommend the cheapest one - great quality for the price). I went during an off season so I did not have to make a reservation and the tour was very personalized. The wine was GREAT and they were generous with their portions, they have a lot of different varieties here and was very reasonably priced! I would definitely come again and this was my favorite place to visit during my whole trip in Valle...

The Place definitely has a wow factor. What I like about it is that they are one of, or possibly the larger producer from El Valle. when you go on their tour you see an impressive amount of barrels. They definitely cater to large groups and are probably the place that is better equipped to handle larger traffic with reasonable prices. the facilities are clean, well landscaped, and nice place to hang out with your group. downfall is that this place is always crowded and the experience doesn't leave the same impression other smaller places do. as far as the wines, their special reserves are good wines, their Nebbiolo is excellent (it is the rock star) but they do have some wine lines that are nothing to write home about. I do Have to give them credit for being one of the vineyards that started making noise about Valle de Guadalupe, so for that I...

Only positive things to say about this place! We embarked on the wine tour to celebrate both our friends' and our own anniversary, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences ever. Despite the weather not being ideal upon arrival, limiting our outdoor exploration, our guide Azucena truly made the visit worthwhile. Not only did we sample some exquisite wines, but Azucena also enriched our experience with fascinating insights into their production and the history of LA CETTO. Plus, the setting offers fantastic photo opportunities. Highly recommended!

Even though i can’t really rate the wine because im a minor (and can’t drink for obvious reasons) the tour the workers gave was really cool. The good thing is that because minors don’t get to drink they also don’t have to pay for the tour. The tour showed really cool things and told us the history and uses of the things in the installations (both in english and Spanish)
