Las Olas Grand Condominiums — Attraction in Baja California

HEY HEY, now have 13 people that have confirmed that they will be dropping Las Olas Grande from their vacation search due to the horrible way they treat their guests,!!! Each one of these texts is a small victory for me, will never see my money that I was cheated out of by DSV, but at least word is starting to spread that this place IS NOT GUEST FRIENDLY!!! Rental agent is unscrupulous and cheated us. Refuses to return almost 4500 of our rental fee, after keeping 3 months, which we understood as we left early. First she said she had to wait until unit was re rented, then she said owner travelling overseas and she had to wait until he got back, 2 months later she says we brpker lease and SHE gets to keep all the money. Trying to cover uo HER cheating ways by returning the entire security deposit. Now I find that the Condo Management said some very nasty things about me. I did break down and cry after beting told Condo Network would work for us, it didn't and I missed a doctor's call causing me to have to restart treatment plan from day 1, I was on day 6, but I did not yell or scream, I just starting crying and walked away. After that the only staff that saw me were the guards, I waved to them when leaving and returning, that was it. So I guess the Condos do not valu their guests privacy and will blab anything, true or untrue to FB. So just a warning DO NOT rent at Las Olas Grande Condos, you will be very disappointed and the Califia Condos next door were nicer and cheaper. I have also found out this is not the first this agent has done this to people and Condo Mgmt. could care less. This will be blogged in Santa Barbara, Costa Mesa, Laguana Beach and Newport Beach. as well as CO and TX, warning all vacationers to STAY AWAY from Las Olas Grande Condos!!! There is an agent in SB, says he does not know agent, but knows OF her and also the owner, thought he was a reputable businessman and is shocked to learn he is not. So PLEASE avoid the Condos unless you have money to burn, which as a 75 year old...

This place can barely call itself a hotel, much less 5 star lol what a joke. The rules and curfew you have to adhere to make it seem more like a high end detox facility where they watch you. The guards are looking for whatever reason to fine you $300 (like hanging a towel on a balcony to dry) . Im not sure what is "resorty" about this place as they won't even allow a nightly stroll in the common areas with my wife after 10. You can't enjoy outside drinks or foods that haven't been purchased at the one on-site restaurant that's over priced low quality with little variety. The driveway in the place has huge potholes and has to be entered at a decent speed off the highway making it very dangerous. The parking lot is poorly engineered as getting up and down the levels is tight and had a few close collision calls in the week i was there. There is also a contestant smell of sewage from plumbing not correctly installed or maintained. The place has potential but far from being a hotel i would pay to stay at again. Much less for an enjoyable vacation. If they're going to market to and rent to vacationers, they should cater to them. If ever you want to visit Baja California, this is hands down the best location to stay at. The condos at this location are all beautiful. I've stayed in several of the condos and they've all left me breathless. The views from the balconies will leave you in awe and believe me you will be at peace with just taking in the ocean waves as they hit the rocks. Las Olas not only has an amazing view it has 4 small pools facing the ocean and two infinity pools that are set up the same. If i recall correctly there are 5 jacuzzi's that have a seating sectional across the way. One of the large pools and jacuzzi's is adult only use which is such a good thing for those that don't want to be near children or just looking for a romantic getaway lol. The staff there is one like no other. They are so amicable and helpful with any questions you may have. If ever you are looking to stay somewhere in Baja, do not think twice and believe me you will not regret...
