This is definitely a diamond in the rough. Was looking up places in tijuana that facilitated and allowed the use of kayaks and bikes/scooters. This place also had ziplining for kids, three large kid play areas, bike and running track almost three miles long. Almost two on cement and the rest al natural for the mtn bikers. A permit is required via the fire dept facility nearby. It's such a breath of fresh air to find a park of this scale with so many amenities with security and police securing the area. There is a side area where one can drive up to the water and set up camp for a day of relaxing, fishing, and general play. I'll be doing this next time as well as unleashing dogs because it's a dog friendly park as well. Can't say that about most parks in Tijuana! The park closes at 10 pm, so there is plenty of time and parking to enjoy the sights and amenities. The park is located by the dam in the Lis Pinos area of tijuana. It's a worthwhile google...
Read moreWhat a beautiful park! We love everything about it. Finally a nice park for the kids to run around, green area!!! It's perfect. I do however, whant to make a suggestion. The rules say you need to register your dog to be able to come in. I absolutely love that, but there is no follow through on it. I think there should be someone checking in all dogs, if you bring a dog they must show proof of dog poop bags. We stepped on dog poop by accident and theres also dog poop in almost all trees or dirt area. I know construction is continuing but there should be park security or cameras, people need to be held accountable. This is also a reason why theres nothing nice in tijuana, people damage and thrash nice things. I hope we can keep up with this park, its alot of time and money to make this a much needed place for all kids. Look forward to coming back soon. Great job Tijuana!...
Read moreFinalmente found a park that does not have broken slides, broken swings, or sharp medal objects that are sticking out. My daughter and wife loved this place. Nothing was broken, a lot of areas to run, kick soccer balls, fish, ride bikes, and just relax. There are plenty of food vendors on the road, just above the park. Only wish they had more swings for the 2 year olds. Plus, maybe add paddle boats? I know they are still coming up with ideas to utilize the space, highly recommended, and had plenty of security as well. My daughter slept all...
