Museo Jtatik Samuel — Attraction in Chiapas

If you are interested in the history of Chiapas, particularly San Cris and the Zapatista movement, this museum is a must. The creators have done an incredible job. It is one of the best museums I’ve seen for a small scale. Attention to detail, extremely well laid out, and they have an English language booklet guide as well. Muy bonito el lugar, el museo, la museo grafía muy moderna e interactiva. Además de la vida de el sacerdote Samuel Ruiz. También hay una sala de trajes típicos muy bonita y otra sala de las castas, otra sala para exposición temporal sobre los refugiados de Guatemala y México en 1982, en el que querían exterminar a los indígenas en Guatemala. Tambien hay venta de souvenirs. Excelente instalación y está en el km1. Cualquier taxi te lleva por $40 pesos aproximadamente. Es fácil tomar otro taxi en la calle al salir de ahí. El museo es particular, está muy bello. Vale la pena visitarlo. Tiene costo la entrada en $50 pesos por persona (2022). Puedes aprender sobre la vida y obra del padre Samuel Ruiz. Además de aprender sobre los objetos religiosos usados en los rituales y ceremonias de la iglesia católica.
