Giant, stylized eagle which marks the boundary between Baja California and Baja California sur. Military base surrounds it but huge tuning fork when viewed from north or south becomes flying eagle when seen from the east or west. It's in the middle of a glories or roundabout so you can't miss it. Just north of...

They had a fun carnival. I've yet to experience much of it during the day. Fun fact: I've been told on a tour the X represents the the cross roads of Mexico's past including Spain (the finished line) and it's future (the unfinished line).

Our Uber driver took us here. He said it was an open park & visitors can walk around. We did & did notice the Mexican police watching us, which made us feel safe. Though there were no events going on, it was a fun building to see.

We came here during the expo feria. It was really packed, so if you visit during a regular day i dont know how it is. The "x" monument is pretty cool.
