Las Playitas — Attraction in Coahuila

It's a cool experience and driving there is fun you even pass a swamp with a floating bridge, be carefull do not bring a sedan or low car since you will be on dirt road and there is lots of rocks. Come with an SUV or a pickup, preferably.

Entrance payment was a bit wanky and weird we felt a bit robbed since we were charged 310.00 MXN / 15.00 USD per person for the entrance but on all sites it said it was only 160.00 MXN / 8.00 USD but the lady told us since this year they had increased the charge even though we showed her on the phone that it said differently.

Kayak was 300.00 MXN / 15.00 USD for 2 people: 1 hour

Be careful, do not pay any guide more than 500.00 MXN, but with all honesty, you don't need a guide...

Tuve la oportunidad de visitar Las Playitas en Cuatro Ciénegas y la verdad es que es un lugar que vale muchísimo la pena conocer. El paisaje es espectacular, el agua está increíble y es una experiencia única estar rodeada de tanta belleza natural. Me dio mucho gusto ver que ya está abierto para nadar, porque realmente es un lugar que se disfruta al máximo.

Es totalmente recomendable para ir, relajarse, pasarla bien con amigos o en familia y reconectar con la naturaleza. Sin embargo, también es importante recalcar que este tipo de espacios tan valiosos necesitan de nuestra conciencia y cuidado.

Creo que se debería ser más estricto con las reglas de conservación. Por ejemplo, es fundamental que se promueva el uso de bloqueador biodegradable, ya que muchos productos tradicionales afectan gravemente estos ecosistemas tan frágiles. También considero que deberían instalar botes de basura diferenciados (plástico, vidrio, unicel y basura no reciclable) para fomentar el reciclaje y evitar que la basura se quede o se vuele con el viento.

Noté que algunas personas dejaban basura y que el personal del lugar no estaba tan al pendiente de hacer cumplir las reglas. Sería ideal que quienes trabajan ahí estuvieran más involucrados en vigilar y fomentar el respeto por el espacio. Las reglas deben ser claras para todos y aplicarse con firmeza, porque si no cuidamos este tipo de lugares ahora, quizá mañana ya no podamos disfrutarlos.

Las Playitas es un tesoro natural que merece ser visitado y sobre todo, protegido. Si van, vayan con respeto y conciencia: lo que le damos a la naturaleza, la naturaleza nos lo devuelve...

Very disappointing experience. The place is overpriced and the staff was quite rude. I had my baby with me, and we were told at the entrance that we could sit in a covered area — which was important for us.
