The beach is beautiful as well as the food, that's all good I have to say about it, from the beginning people try to rip you off, as soon we arrive to the beach waiter approach you to come to their restaurant, you can't bring your own umbrella without paying them for the place (This is a public space, you shouldn't pay), but if you don't pay the can become very aggressive to you, (back to the waiter) he told me if I consum food with them they wouldn't charge me for the umbrella but they did it anyway, don't get me wrong I don't mind paying as long as I'm informed in advance, also at the end of the day you have to to walk back to the boat when you finish walking on the sand to the board walk there's people washing the sand off your sandals they tell you is at no charge but if you don't give them a good amount of money they'll throw sand back at your feed witch is pretty rude and lastly but not the least you have to make a line to board the boat bit when it arrives people won't respect your time making the line and they'll just pushed their way in and it takes about 45 min for another boat to come...and don't fight back 'cause you can't get your self in trouble...I would never recommend anyone to...

The beach closes around 5pm and everyone is forced to leave at the same time. We waited on the doc for about 45 minutes as everyone had to clear out at the same time. The beach is small and had lots of broken glass in the sand. Furthmore the beach was polluted with plastic and other forms of trash. The people that work the beach are very aggressive and try to sell you services, good and drinks. If you are looking for a nice place to relax this is not it.

The food is cooked in a shack on the far side of the beach. It did not appear sanitary at all.

We went to the beach for snorkeling. The water is not very clear and there were not many fish to look at. Acapulco has got to have better destinations for snorkeling and swimming than this small, polluted...

Playa la Roqueta – I do not recommend this beach, it is usually very crowded and although it is nice it is not incredible. Also you will find a lot of trash and sometimes bad smells. I had the fortune to come one day in the afternoon in the middle of the week during low season so the beach was empty with no restaurants open so I enjoyed a lot and water was clean but still it is better not to come. There are some nice trails within the island but nothing that will blow...

To make the trek from the pier takes about 15 minutes, although the boat takes about 90 minutes as they slow-motor along the coast having shows and tip competitions - no one leaves with out tipping and low tipers are called out. The beach is a gentle slope covered completely with locals, plastic, bottles old food. The water the same. What fish remain are not worth the visit. The island has a nice series of walking trails, and a lookout on the top.

Nice little beach with the fewer waves in the area. It is a bit crowded at times but safer than the mainland. Other than that, I find it quite unremarkable. I would avoid the food from the second restaurant over( I don't know about the one at the entrance). The prices are ridiculously high for food that will make you sick. Avoid like the plague; I'm not picky but this food is bad. Ignore my warning at your own peril.

Beautiful little Island to eat and enjoy the beach. They have the double banana, snorkeling and scuba diving for a reasonable price. They have clean restrooms (they charge 7pesos) the food was delicious and inexpensive. You do have to ride a boat to get there. You are able to take you're own drinks and food if you like and last call to head back to the city is around 430 so if you plan to go don't wait to go late.
