Great family oriented site ($100 pesos general admission/ with pkg)Clean bathrooms available at various locations within the site. Parking was empty (Tuesday) and most of the businesses were closed. Not many people touring either so we were able to take our time looking around and taking pictures. Spite the rain, water in the prisms was not running much. Also, lots of invasive vegetation is growing in the pond which diminished the beauty of this place. I hope they invest in preserving all the features of this place. Overall, I enjoyed the trip, the walk, the solitude of a rainy Tuesday, and the brain workout trying to explain (you can google it 😀 ). The making of these geometric rocks. One piece of rock was loose and I tried to lifted just to find out it was extremely HEAVY so I respect the powerful force of nature and its artistic way

Well maintained place. Entry fee of 100 mxn per head. Plenty of parking, free of cost. Lot of space to relax, playgrounds for children to play, picnic tables, multiple options for ziplining, horse riding, lot of eating spots and souvenir shops. The toilets next to the big childrens playground were very vlean. Despite having seen basaltic columns at Northern Island and several parts of Iceland, Mexico’s basaltic formations are the most beautiful thanks to the waterfalls and swing bridge. One can view various formations by walking on the edge of both sides of the canyon, from the rope bridge and down to the base of the rocks and up close to the waterfalls. It is not permitted to climb on the columns. Formed by volcanic activity 2.5 million years ago.

The ticket includes access to: Parking, green areas, grills, bathrooms, playgrounds, sports fields, pools (except Easter), showers, suspension bridge, viewpoints, walkways.

The place is beautiful, but it's so small, you can see it in 10 minutes. Actuallu you cannot walk inaise the park or hiking because it's a private area. You only can see a small piece of the rocks and one small bridge. The taxi to come charges you 80 MXN and return it's super difficult, if there's not any taxi you need to walk 6 KM or take a boat to regla 200 MXN and in Regla take other transport to Huasca or take their own minibus that is 120 or more. Definitely not a place for international tourists and not worth it the entrance fee (100 MXN per person) and the time and transportation, a little bit like a scam.

13 enero,2023.
