Museo de Sitio Mina de Acosta — Attraction in Hidalgo

Really interesting. Lots of information and very cool. Never been in a mine before and this was definitely an experience. Just one note. Bring a jacket/sweater and pants!! It’s freezing!! Yeah it could be hot out and your sweating but in the mine it’s freezing!!!!!! Super cool though and you get to wear hard hats which is fun! Price is reasonable. You do have to pay a little extra to take pictures but it’s worth it just at least do one per party. Take a peak at all the extra things around too. Impresionante. El museo es tambien fue una de la muchas minas de la zona. El coto es de $55 pesos más un pago de $25 pesos para poder tomar fotografías del videos, eso sin importar que sea una cámara profesional, un celular etc. Pero hay un paquete por el cual pagas la visita a tres museos de la zona y te da acceso a cuatro, tres minas y el museo de medicina laboral Hay varios guías que te llevarán a recorrer los diferentes espacios del museo, estos guías son muy amables, atentos, y no dudes en hacerles alguna o varias preguntas respecto a la historia del lugar o la minería, que ellos te responderán sin problema. El atractivo más interesante del museo es el recorrido por un túnel que tiene aproximadamente 450 metros, recorrido de ida y vuelta. Este túnel en su momento era funcional. Al final de este túnel se encuentra un tiro o entrada a la mina. En tiempos de pandemia es recomendable y obligatorio el uso de cubrebocas, yo recomiendo que utilices dos, por la cercanía entre los visitantes. Para ingresar a este túnel te prestan un casco el cual está sanitizado. Es una gran experiencia y además hay mucha información que vale la pena. Es recomendable para todas las edades, pero hay que tomar en cuenta que al ingresar al túnel puede ser incómodo para algunos niños o para personas que no les gusta estar en espacios cerrados. Y se siente un poco frío y húmedo así que hay que llevar algo de ropa abrigadora y en tiempo de lluvias hay ligeros...
