This park is a great visit, but expect to pay two fees to enter. The reasoning behind these fees is poorly explained. You have to pay to enter the tourist area, which I assume is a fee for maintenance of said area, then pay the actual federal park ticket separate after leaving the area. There is no way to enter the park without first visiting through the tourist zone. It's incredibly unfortunate. The tour guides throw out prices and court you just like any other tourist box in Mexico, which makes it even more overwhelming and unappealing. Other than the initial entrance, overpriced goods, and shoddy tour guides it's a wonderful little hike to Ka'na Nah, I suggest hiking shoes during the December months with anti-slip, or after a heavy rain. The terrain is rocky and slick even down standard paths....

Highly recomend this as he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of our questions and didn't rush us thru. This part was not part of the tour but you can walk here on your own and enjoy cenotes...
