Absolutely beautiful beach with great swimming and a cool rock reef off to the right that connects to Colomitos beach if you are into snorkeling. We saw a ton of different fish and a HUGE needlefish. Snorkeling and cliff jumping here were the highlights of our trip and would recommend anyone to come check it out.
Note: the water is pretty deep so there's not a lot of wading space, but the waves were gentle and there was no notable current. The water is super clear compared to other beaches, and the rocks had lots of cute crabs if you are into seeing little creatures like we are 🦀🦀🦀 You can hike here from Colomitos beach which is a little bit treacherous but nothing major if you are able-bodied and fairly fit. We chose to hike from Boca de Tomatlán, I wish we had proper shoes because it's not a "flip-flop" approved hike, lot of rocks, ups and downs and dust. Lol But overall not a super tough hike either. Madagascar beach has no service at all, just be aware so bring your water and snacks. Next stop is only 10-15 mins away where you will find bathrooms and food/drinks. Took about 45 mins to get there.
