Absolutely beautiful beach with great swimming and a cool rock reef off to the right that connects to Colomitos beach if you are into snorkeling. We saw a ton of different fish and a HUGE needlefish. Snorkeling and cliff jumping here were the highlights of our trip and would recommend anyone to come check it out.

Note: the water is pretty deep so there's not a lot of wading space, but the waves were gentle and there was no notable current. The water is super clear compared to other beaches, and the rocks had lots of cute crabs if you are into seeing little creatures like we are 🦀🦀🦀 You can hike here from Colomitos beach which is a little bit treacherous but nothing major if you are able-bodied and fairly fit. The hike along the beach onwards to Las Animas is mellow and fairly flat. Overall a...

My favorite beach so far in PV! 🤩 It's stunning and feels secluded (most boats don't stop there, just the hikers). We chose to hike from Boca de Tomatlán, I wish we had proper shoes because it's not a "flip-flop" approved hike, lot of rocks, ups and downs and dust. Lol But overall not a super tough hike either. Madagascar beach has no service at all, just be aware so bring your water and snacks. Next stop is only 10-15 mins away where you will find bathrooms and food/drinks. Took about 45 mins to get there. You can choose by boat also but I feel you're missing the...

We did the Boca de Tomatlan to Las Animas hike (best decision ever) and this and Colomitos, the first two beaches on the hike, were probably our favourite of the beaches you get to see on it…breathtakingly calm and usually only a few ppl on it, this is well worth the hike OR the water taxi to (which we did a few days after our hike for relaxing...

The beach is amazing, the water is crystal blue, you are even able to see the fishes as they get near you. You can get by boat for $100 pesos per person. Bring food and drinks as there is nowhere to buy them in the area.
