DO NOT GO HERE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! NUMEROUS PEOPLE WATCHED US FROM OTHER FAIRWAYS IN THE TREES. W booked our tee times only and paid 100%. My wife and Aunt wanted to tag along to watch us play. There was absolutely no one on the course they wanted $110 for them to get a cart. We told them that it was too kcuh and if they could just walk. They stated that would be fine. We also asked if there was a bar in case they wanted to hang out there instead. Long story short the maintenance crew and staff drove around behind trees and everything to watch us play. They came up to us on hole 3 and just reminded us the women were not supposed to ride. They continues to watch is on other fairways trying to hide. Then on hole 7 a gentlemen came up and asked to take the ladies to the front. I said no I will go up there if there is a problem. Then the gentleman that drove me back said we lied to them and told them the ladies were staying at the bar and were not allowed to walk. Then he continued to explain the situation and at this point I just wanted a refund of half (which was denied). Then when we get back I asked to speak to someone higher up and they said the lady was where it stopped. She did not want to explain anything all she wanted to do was charge $55 for the riders instead of $110 which was a joke. I did not want to get confrontational with a woman so I decided to spend the $55 and try to enjoy what was left. This review will not matter because this is a failing golf course that will not be...

I golfed the course this prior Saturday. I was so utterly disappointed in the course I do not know what to say. First, when I booked the tee time I was told I was to still receive my "local's" discount. I got there and they said no, they don’t do that any longer. So the staff lies to its customers.

Second, they said they would give me a 20% discount as the greens were in “rough” shape. The staff should just work a urban city municipal course if this is what they consider rough! It was horrible and everyone there that I spoke to, the golfers, all agreed, it should have been an 80% discount. Nicklaus would be ashamed of how they have ruined this course.

Third, when golfing the maintenance crews would not even move out of the way of the shot. I paid close to three hundred dollars to have the staff run the mowers and waters in front of me on their time!

Fourth, the staff were fixing the greens were not moving when the shot was coming in, they were shirtless, and not wearing any type of uniforms.

The course was perhaps the worst course for the price I have ever paid. ClubCorp and the staff...

Played on a GolfNow hot deal for $150. Posted rate is about $250 which doesn’t make sense because the course is empty so obviously more than people will pay. Rented clubs for about $65 and got two year old Taylormade Sim2 and Calloway Rogue with newish mallet putters. Pro shop staff and back shop were friendly ; Marshall showed us where to go on the first team, but didn’t see him again and didn’t need to as we were the only people on the course. Played in 3 1/2 hours. The course, was in excellent condition from tee to Green and is a modern design with lots of elevation change as it’s up in the mountains behind PV. Lots of room off the tee to hit Driver. Bunkers had sufficient sand and were relatively consistent; a few coulees but not many water hazards. limited residential so it does feel like you’re playing in the jungle. We played the Nicklaus course, but the other one looked similar and was...

We played the Weiskopf course in mid January of 2024 and it was spectacular. We called it the "jungle course" because it absolutely feels carved out of the jungle in many places. The course has generous fairways on many holes and large greens. Sand and water come into play often but it isn't an unreasonable challenge. I would rate this course in the top 10 most fun courses I have played and that list includes a few Bandon Dunes courses. Don't miss this one if you are on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. We rented the Taylor Made clubs and they played perfectly. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. All treated us like club members even though we are simply tourists. The cab ride from the beach cost us around $10 each way. The course is out in the mountains a bit. But very quiet! The drive to the course takes you through dirt roads and off the main tourist zone but not to worry. Have fun!

From the time we arrived until the time we left we were treated exceptionally well by everyone, from the attendants to the general manager. Everyone was very accommodating, despite the fact that there was an enormous tournament going on. I would have not been surprised to be left on our own, but this was not the case. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed, bags put on our cart and made sure we got off on time. Add to this one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played on made this an unforgettable experience that I will be sure to come back to. Make sure you ask Salvador for his Cadillac Margarita. Highly recommended!
