I did a ceremony with the family, and I would NOT recommend it. They are not shamans and they don't follow the tradition of Maria Sabina. A woman who said she was family of Maria Sabina would do the ceremony with me, but later I found out she wasn't direct family and she also was no shaman, but by that time I already paid so I decided to continue, which I shouldn't have done. She didn't sing, only did some prayers and copal cleaning, it was silent the whole ceremony. She left me at 11pm because she was tired and I was completely alone for the rest of the night while my visions lasted until about 2am. Luckily I had experience so I stayed calm, but if it's your first time this can be very dangerous.
