Such a great place and tour of the Marsh. Seen so many Crocodiles, large and babies. The random monkey and these small deers that roam there aswell. I love how simply they live in this co-op amd how happy they all are. We have coconuts drinks and ate the meat, but didn't have time to have it grilled. The souvenirs are very very expensive however. I suggest buying bug spray before you get there and not on location. The banjo (toilet) cost $5 pesos aswell. They have an arnica cream they make there I suggest you buy for burns and or pain. It's truly an amazing cream that is much more expensive everywhere else in town. We wanted more but it won't...

We did the tour today and it was absolutely incredible! The peace and serenity of the land were so calming — we instantly felt more grounded just being there. Our English-speaking tour guide was amazing and shared so much knowledge about the animals and the land. We loved learning about the way everything is cared for, especially knowing it’s a non-profit organization that also rescues wild animals. You can really feel the heart behind it all. It’s such a special place — a must-visit if you’re in the area! The perfect way to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature. We...

Spent a couple of hours at the Laguna Ventanilla. It was pleasant enough. Short walk from the village to the boat. Our resort recommended bringing a shade umbrella but it really wasn't necessary for the short distance and also did not work on the boat. Saw crocs, fresh water turtles and a rescued spider monkey who loved people. The two families who lived on the island were friendly and...

The tour was very very nice, our guide Nestor was full of great explanations and took the time to explain us everything about the mangrove and also on Mexican people. Definitely recommend it, we paid 500$ for 2 people including the food to feed iguanas and deers. This community is amazingly protecting and restoring the mangrove and all its ecosystem. Special thanks to Nestor for this wonderful time :)
