Words really can't describe how magical this place is. I visited Cenote Elvira on a trip with my cousins and it was so above and beyond anything we could have expected. The booking experience was easy, the communication leading up to our visit was stellar, and once we arrived things only got better.
The cenote itself is stunning, the water is so clear and lovely and there is obviously a lot of care that goes into keeping it in such pristine condition. The pergola area including a fridge/freezer, a speaker for music, and lots of fans to beat the heat was so well set up and comfortable for the time we spent hanging out in between swim sessions. The restrooms are also kept very clean. When we arrived, Oscar came and got us all set up, gave us a tour, and talked to us about the beautiful nature surrounding us.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience! I can't recommend it enough if you're in the area and looking for a gorgeous, private cenote...
Read moreVisiting cenote Elvira was not only a highlight of time spent in Puerto morelos but a life highlight. The grounds are beautifully kept. The cenote is magical and the fact that you get it all to yourself is just amazing. This fact allows you to fully relax. I want to get married all over again just to be able to do it here. We bbq'd and took a blender and made our own Pina coladas! All staff are kind and helpful and you hardly see them. There is a speaker you can use, but we took our own and I took it to the wedding venue building which is amazing and had a good dance there by myself! Lifejackets are available on site. Must take everything to cook with but ice is provided and a fridge too. Don't even think twice. The entire day will be magical from start to finish..To have such a sacred space all to yourself is something truly special. We are so grateful for...
Read moreReally nice experience! We went with a few members of extended family including my mom and three kids ages 2 and 4. It was highlight of my family’s visit. So lovely to be in nature without other people. Some of the other cenotes in the area are wonderful, but are less peaceful with crowds. Much more relaxing with kids as they could run around without bothering other people. The cenote is beautiful and so are the grounds. We booked lunch and it was also excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food, catering to normal, vegetarian, and kids. Easy to communicate with in Spanish or English. Edit to mention that their prices changed dramatically over last couple of years and it is now too expensive to use outside of a very special occasion. It’s still beautiful though and I wish the prices were more accessible. I took off a...
