Mirador Del Golfo — Attraction in Sonora

Trash, trash, and more trash. Trash everywhere. Trash on the streets, trash around ramadas, thrashed bathrooms and yes; sadly lots of trash on the beach. It broke my heart because they have better beaches than Puerto Peñasco and most of the trash I've saw was clearly originated by locals. (Tires, rotten fish carcasses, trash bags with household trash, not picnic items). I did my part: I picked up three full bags of trash and left before I cut my feet with a broken glass or a beer bottle lid. The first star is because I cannot post a review with zero stars. The second star is for the great beaches and amazing sunset. Dear Mr. or Mrs. Mayor: Please let me know when you have gotten the trash problem under control as I would love to revisit you beautiful town and revise...

Nice quiet place on the Gulf of California. The Mirador is located in the small town of El Golfo de Santa Clara. This is just one of the many scenic locations you can view the Gulf of California from. The tides are so extreme that it at low tide the water recedes over a quarter mile in some places. This allows the locals and visitors to drive right onto the flat beach and park to make it easier to get to the waves. This should only be tried if you have experience and the resources to get unstuck....because if you don't you'll be sacrificing you car...

Mirador que nació como un proyecto hace algunos años aunque el tiempo de construcción demoró bastante, una vez terminado tuvo un imparto importante en la localidad dado que muchos turistas querían hacerse de una foto en las famosas letras del golfo de santa clara. Actualmente debido a la humedad presentada el dicha costará el paso del tiempo y las lluvias han ido deteriorando delicias letras, aunque todavía son visibles a lo lejos de cercas se puede observar como están llenas de óxido, aunque a los visitantes siguen haciéndose de fotos junto a estas letras. Las autoridades del lugar no han echo mucho para solucionar ese problema. Eso es lo que pide que se califique con una mejor puntuación...
