La Marquesa National Park — Attraction in State of Mexico

It's a beautiful place worth a visit. Getting there should be pretty straightforward, since you just have to take the Mexico-Toluca toll road .There's a lot of stuff to do in there, including hiking, trout fishing, horse riding, mountain bike riding, go-karts rentals and much more. It's a great place, specially if you have kids. This place provides a unique chance to enjoy the geographical beauty of Mexico. The mountains are covered with dense pine forests, one of the various natural regions of Mexico. Warning: Due to the high elevation ≈3000 m (9840) ft, you should exercise caution, specially if you have certain medical conditions. A fun place for everyone if you have 1 free day in Mexico. I recommend the restaurant "El Venado". Great local food, you can fish your trout and you can get it cocked in at least 10 different ways. Appetizers and mains are great too. Prizes are good but be mindful that most places including this restaurant don't take debit nor AMEX cards.
