I remember visiting this place when I was in 5th grade,(long time ago) and it was one of my greatest memories, so I returned after many years to find the place as nice as I remembered it, Is a big and nice archaeological, one whit well cared and preserved pyramids and a great site museum, you can explore the entire area at your own pace, and admire the views from the top, the walk from the parking lot to the zone might be a challenge for some people but is worth the walk. Spend as much time as you want and enjoy this gem. The museum gives you a glimpse of how the people lived on those days and is well kept, explained and it has some amazing pieces, like the obsidian mirror and the wooden drum, we visited when the archaeologist where cleaning and cataloging some displays and he was kind enough to show us his work and see close up some amazing pieces. This place is highly recommended and I will visit again with more time to spare. Enjoy

It's a very nice place - bigger than expected, quiet. It has been views of the city and many pyramids. As far as I'm aware, there's no entry fee and no actual entrance or staff around. There's no signs leading up to it.

One of my favorite archeological sites that has few visitors. Several pyramids and a ball court. Visitors can climb the pyramids, and even picnic on top. The museum is also very good. The site is on a hill overlooking the Valle de Toluca, with great views on clear days. Best to go in cooler months as there is no shade. And it takes so.e planning to get there from Mexico City, but easily done...

Y colegios.
