We've been to different botanical gardens in Mexico and this one is definitely a jewel. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. The park itself contains a lot of really beautiful plants and also a voliere (big bird cage). There's also a small maze (which was fun for the kids). The windmill seemed a bit out of place and the part that's supposed to represent the African continent appeared to be put together rather randomly. But all in all it is a great way to get away from all the traffic and noise and still be in the middle of Orizaba. We definitely recommend the Biori, especially for families, and will be back for...
Read moreVery good spot to stop by if you're around Orizaba. It's a really nice place to have a relaxing walk while observing the endemic plants of the area. The place also has a japanese garden, which has a great view to the mountains. Before starting to walk, make sure to take a picture of the map to easily locate the places of your interests. Also there are some photo signs where you can get nice shots. The whole place can take around 1 or 2 hours depending on the pace you take. Also they have some paths that are friendly for people on wheelchairs. The staff is really nice and are always willing to help on doubts...
