This is prison for animals. Turtles and crocodiles had disgusting and small amount of water, like they were all tucked in a small place. There was also a bird who was all anxious and he was screaming and tried to find way from the cage. One of the parrot was almost naked on his stomach. He was without feathers, just because he was in stress. All of the animals were running to us, because they wanted to go out. Especially the mexican racoons. This zoo broke my heart, don’t go there, don’t support them, because all the people who wrote the bad reviews wrote the same thing as me. And some of them are 4 years old!!!! This is not how you treat animals, they will die...

Some of the larger animals had obvious mental health issues, lonely and depressed.
The crocodile pond had barely any water, the pumas where walking around in a circle like their minds had gone insane.
The animal attached I believe it could be a coyote was extremely lonely and needed a friend.. was using back and forth behaviour that was extremely upsetting and sad to witness.
Walking around the zoo myself and my partner didn’t see anyone within the whole hour that worked for the park.

It was quiet, full of tons of awesome animals that you can really see (there’s basically nowhere for them to hide so you see almost every single one) and shady, which was really nice once the heat picked up. It’s really a well done Mexican zoo, we had a fantastic time. Even the cafe was a delightful surprise, the pond right next to it was full of fish and turtles and flamingos. It was the first time on our trip the kids didn’t ask when the food was coming. We had lunch and left around 1:15. Totally...
