Călărășeuca Monastery — Attraction in Unguri

Călărășeuca is a forteress-like monastery with springs and a pond full of fish. If you get to be in the North of Moldova, and are interested in monasteries Călărășeuca and Rudi should be on your list. These are 20 km apart and can be visited in the same day. Apart from getting there by car, a bike ride is a good option, or even a boat/canoe is feasible too as both monasteries are located less than a mile from Dnester. I went there with a group of 20 tourists and we walked through the forests, fields and gorges of small rivers. Springs at Călărășeuca are credited of spilling mineral water. One of these reportedly is a cure for ocular inflammations. Visiting the monastery make sure to dress in a way that does not disturb the religious views of Christian East Orthodox believers and nuns of the monastery. Священник который служит в этом монастыре, Кронид, часто впадает в приступы злости и вымещает свою злобу против прихожан. Без каких либо причин может выгнать или накричать на людей , на детей. Наша семья и многие другие прихожане нередко попадают в немилость этого священника. Приходишь в храм на службу а тут такой отношения к людям...
