Eco-Village Valeni — Attraction in Văleni

I have visited the place twice. Once a few years ago and then today (Aug. 2024). Today we positively noticed many improvements, including a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and traditional hot tub for overnight guests. The set up represents a traditional village and you get a feel for the country if you're a visiting guest from outside Moldova. You can also have private events there.

As an outside tourist I would definitely recommend a visit.

However, I foresee certain issues if some things are not improved. The first time we visited we rented canoes for the Prut meadows. They didn't have enough paddles. Today we visited (35°C) and we couldn't purchase anything to drink or eat although they have everything there. Nobody in charge and fridge broken or turned off. A general program is that there is only one bigger sign at the street but the small/narrow dirt road makes you think there is nothing there. I bicycled past and didn't see it although I had been there before.

Overall, it is worth a visit and I hope they improve those little things that tourists from the rest of the world pay attention to. It would be a shame if this important...

Pro: Nice atmosphere, in the middle of nature, where you can hear the birds, see the sky and listen to the wind.

Bad: Over priced per room. Almost 50€, two persons, with a kind of breakfast. Rooms with an economical bulb, that didn't worked during the event, no light on the road to the toilet, I was closed to get an accident and break something, drinks was at room temperature (wine, juice, water...), no ice. I won't say a word about food service, it might be something local, but using the same fork for salad, lamb and cake...

Later edit Please mention that the road between place of event and rooms wasn't illuminate, the electricity from rooms was cut off, so no light in bathroom and...if you were a good host, and you're clients brings you the drinks with an hour in advance, what about some ice? It might be cheaper to produce before event. You already said that were some problems with electricity, so it would made impossible the missions to cool...

Locația este îngrijită impecabil, cu mult bun gust în fiecare colț. 🍽️ Mâncarea a fost excelentă – toți invitații noștri au fost impresionați de gust, prezentare și varietate. Totul a fost proaspăt, delicios și servit la timp, fără nicio sincopă. Felicitări echipei din bucătărie! 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Comunicarea cu stafful a fost una dintre cele mai mari surprize plăcute – deschiși, calzi, implicați și flexibili. Ne-au oferit încredere și liniște într-o zi cu atât de multe emoții. Recomandăm din suflet Eco Village pentru orice eveniment important din viață. Pentru noi, a fost locul perfect în care am spus „DA” și ne vom aminti mereu cu drag de fiecare moment petrecut aici. 💚 Mulțumim din inimă...
