Ugii nuur is a nice spot to stop by and enjoy the scenery on your way to orkhon valley or terkhiin tsagaan nuur. I wouldn’t say it’s a must see. We stayed there for one night at Khatan Ugii camp in July, the camp was great, but there was so much dust from the vehicles passing by the lake and we were completely covered in dust in just few minutes at the shore. Maybe it’s better if it’s not during the Naadam holiday. I heard the lake is a popular fishing...

The Ugii lake has wonderful warm water with no huge stone when you walk into the lake. I highly recommend for swimmers this lake.

We stayed Ugii Dalai resort. This resort’s summer house and Mongolian traditional homes (ger) are quite good facilities. However, the resort’s motobike made huge noise and diesel smoke.

So we left and moved Ugii Khishig resort. It was quite good location and summer houses are more...

A paradise for the sunset. We got a nice spot to set the tent and have a nice meal at this place. Lots of mosquitoes in here as well, we heard the hovering on our tent...

Ugii nuur is a nice spot to stop by and enjoy the scenery on your way to orkhon valley or terkhiin tsagaan nuur. I wouldn’t say it’s a must see. We stayed there for one night at Khatan Ugii camp in July, the camp was great, but there was so much dust from the vehicles passing by the lake and we were completely covered in dust in just few minutes at the shore. Maybe it’s better if it’s not during the Naadam holiday. I heard the lake is a popular fishing destination.
