Bogd Khan — Attraction in Ulaanbaatar

Nearest hiking mountain from UB. Actually it’s only 5km away from center of UB 😄. It has lots of paid parking and also it has Line bus and taxi get u there. If you hike through middle routine it will take 1’30 hours to get top /around 2km/. Also it has 2 other tops which is way too extreme to me 😂. There is no management or owner so if u decide to go there in winter or when it’s rainy Pls be careful and get some hiking tools for your safety. I hiked Bogd Khan Mountain on July 13, 2025. I started at 9 AM, and luckily, the weather was perfect, so it didn’t bother me at all. The trail had plenty of large rocks, so trekking shoes are definitely recommended. Overall, it felt very refreshing, and as someone who hikes often, I’d rate the difficulty around 4 out of 10.
