What an extraordinary canyoning experience in Montenegro!

We did a full-day tour in the Medjurecki Canyon (8 hours, incl. drive) with Justin and two other adventurers from Belgium. The canyon has not been open for long (not overcrowded) and is super varied with a good mix of rappelling, jumping and sliding - it also also offeres incredibly beautiful nature (e.g. rare butterflies and plants with water-repellent properties). Plus a nice, cheerful and experienced guide who not only briefed us well, but also kept us super entertained. Adriathek's philosophy: enjoy the day in the canyon in a relaxed manner (you take the whole day), have lots of fun and grow beyond yourself. Other agencies offer two tours per day, which I would not recommend, as the canyon is already long and you can enjoy the unique nature and experience much more. The gear was in good condition overall. The only thing we see room for improvement is the footwear - instead of Asics sport shoes, maybe special shoes for water, e.g. Adidas Terrex Hydro Lace or something similar ;)

Justin did a really great job, the instructions were on point! He's also an incredibly friendly and empathetic person who is very responsive to the needs of the team. We had a really great day and are very grateful for the opportunity to discover this special place together!

Wow—what an unforgettable experience! My husband and I recently completed the Medjurecki tour with Adriatrek Canyon Montenegro, and it was truly one of the highlights of our travels. From the very start, Rado (and Justin) was incredibly helpful and accommodating as he worked around our travel schedule to find the perfect date for us, and we’re so grateful for his patience and support. Since we didn’t have a car, Justin kindly offered to pick us up in Bar and drive us to the canyon site, which was very generous and we deeply appreciate him taking the time. Justin was an exceptional guide and teacher: calm, encouraging, and wonderfully patient. He never rushed us, always made sure we were comfortable, and helped us build the confidence to rappel and jump as we went along. The canyon itself was absolutely breathtaking. Justin’s knowledge of the local wildlife and plants added a whole new layer to the experience—we got to taste wild berries, smell fresh thyme and mint, and learn about the area’s unique ecology. Lunch in a stunning scenic spot topped it all off! The entire experience was challenging, exhilarating, and so rewarding—we’re completely hooked and already dreaming of our next canyoning adventure. We did the canyoning, intermediate level, in Medurecje with Rado and Cedrik. We met to have coffee and get ready for the adventure. Then we drove after Rado's jeep up to Ahmed's terrain where we put on all the equipment. Ahmed drove us in his pick up and drop us off where we started walking. When we got to the river, Rado taught us the rappel techniek and a few safety guidelines. Then we started with a 28 m rappel through a waterfall which was incredible. From then on, it was all adrenaline and facing fears while pushing my own limits to discover I can do more than I initially thought. The surroundings are gorgeous and although the experience is quite intense -we were busy for over 6 hours- having Rado and Cedrik as our guides was the best experience. I always felt safe with them. I never doubted they knew what they were doing. They always made me feel comfortable and allowed me to take as much time as I needed when I was struggling with fear. I honestly felt we were in good hands the whole time because they truly know what they're doing. Besides that, they're super fun and kind. Canyoning in Montenegro was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and doing it guided with them was truly a blessing. One of the best experiences...
